Electric single seat regulating valves play a pivotal role in various industrial automation control systems, serving as a critical component for precise flow control. These valves combine the best features of both single-seat and sleeve-type regulating valves, offering exceptional performance and durability.
Working Principle: The electric single seat regulating valve operates on the principle of a double-acting spring diaphragm actuator. When the valve is in an intermediate position, the piston rod exerts a downward thrust on the diaphragm due to the spring force, causing it to move downward (or return to its original position), thereby adjusting the valve’s opening. When the valve is fully closed, the piston rod pushes the diaphragm further down, effectively shutting off the flow. Conversely, when the valve is opened, the piston rod retracts, allowing the diaphragm to move upward, increasing the flow rate.
